Eighth: Final Provisions

Article (62):

All UAE authorities shall cooperate with the different electoral committees and facilitate their tasks.

Article (63):

By-elections shall be held in the emirate in which the election results have been cancelled or the electoral process has not been conducted or completed on a date to be specified by the NEC and as per the rules observed in ordinary elections.

Article (64):

If the seat of an elected FNC member has become vacant 3 months at least before the end of the FNC term, the runner-up in the emirate's reserve list shall be selected.
